Connecticut calls it the Certificate of Legal Existence (Good Standing) and charges $50. Here is how to order it and what must be current first.

Connecticut calls its Certificate of Good Standing a Certificate of Legal Existence. Order online through Business.CT.gov. THE $50 IS THE ROUTINE PRICE, NOT A FAST ONE: the Secretary of the State publishes routine service at 3 to 5 business days and sells 24-hour completion as a $50 expedite on top, so a certificate needed tomorrow costs $100. Connecticut prices three LLC certificates at or near this figure: an Express Certificate of Existence at $50, a Short-form at $50 which reflects all name changes, and a Long-form at $100 which is domestic only and cannot be expedited. The online system replaced the old CONCORD portal, whose logins no longer work. The Annual Report ($80 for LLCs, filed January 1 through March 31) must be current. Missing the window knocks the LLC out of good standing and prevents certificate issuance.
Processing and expedited tiers: Connecticut publishes no turnaround for online certificate orders. The only figures the Secretary of the State publishes are routine service completed within 3 to 5 business days, and expedited service completed within 24 business hours for an extra $50, on form CXC-1-1.0 revised January 2024. The Legal Existence page separately says a request may take up to five business days to process
