Idaho calls it the Certificate of Existence and charges $10. Here is how to order it and what must be current first.
Would rather not deal with the agency yourself?
Idaho names this document two ways in a single chapter. Idaho Code 30-21-208 is headed "Certificate of good standing or registration" and 30-21-214(30) prices a "certificate of existence"; the SOS order form settles it by printing "Existence or Goodstanding" on one checkbox, so either term gets you the same $10 document. Order using the paper Certificate Request form, which is the only ordering instrument Idaho publishes. Under 30-21-208 the certificate states the entity name, that its public organic record has been filed and taken effect with the effective date, and that the records do not reflect dissolution. IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT TAXES OR ABOUT THE ANNUAL REPORT, unlike South Carolina's and Maine's. Certified copies of other documents are $10 per document plus $0.25 per page on the same form.
Processing and expedited tiers: Idaho publishes no processing time for a certificate order. Business FILINGS were running 7-10 days as of 2026-08-16, but that figure does not describe certificate requests
A certificate of good standing from Idaho is what the new state asks for when your Idaho LLC registers to do business there. Pick the state you are expanding into to see its exact filing, fee, and process.
