Vermont prices this at $35 through the Online Business Service Center at bizfilings.vermont.gov, and issues it immediately on the dashboard once payment clears. THE NAME DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU WERE FORMED: the fee schedule calls it an Application for Certificate of Existence for a domestic LLC and an Application for Certificate of AUTHORIZATION for a foreign one, both at $35 under 11 V.S.A. 4028. The Secretary of State's web pages label both informally as certificates of good standing. Do not use the $25 "Application for Certificate of Good Standing" figure: that is the domestic business corporation product under 11A V.S.A. 1.28. A separate Certificate of Good Standing from the Vermont Department of Taxes confirms state tax compliance and is free on request.
Processing and expedited tiers: Ordered online through the Online Business Service Center, the certificate is available immediately on the user dashboard under Certificates and Filing Images once the request and payment go through. Vermont publishes no postal turnaround and does not publish its paper forms online at all
